Is currently in her mid thirties, and is possibly a half blood but is not entirely sure, herself. Born in Brooklyn, former Sheila Rosenshlitz, renamed herself after getting swept up in the New Age craze of the sixties and seventies. She is a tree hugging, hemp wearing, unclean hippie type who is into natural herbal remedies and solar energy.
Along with her interest in occult things, she was exposed to tarot cards and several types of fortune tellers during her transitional period.

She began to become very popular during the Renaissance Fairs when they would run, and even though she was rarely correct, she was entertainment enough that she kept going back every year. Sometime during these years she had two daughters, Windy and Misty, much to their embarrassment.

Before her daughters however, she had a chance encounter with Michael Dunbar during one of her readings during a festival while he was on vacation, and he remembered her when he was appointed headmaster, and needed a Divination replacement.

The offer of free tutelage for her daughters and room and board was too good to pass up, so she packed up and resettled in the castle as quick as she could get a flight out.
