Misery is a first year Slytherin, an orphan who lives with her uncle on his dreary estate. Her parents were killed by their own hands by accident, her father, while taste testing a new poison, and her mother while adjusting a crossbow.

She wears black, wears her hair in braids, and rarely smiles. She isn't depressed, she is just subdued. She has an odd sense of humor, and often people can't tell when she is joking.
