The Forbidden Forest

Care of Magical Creatures
Study the life cycles of various magical creatures, some of which can be rather dangerous. Learn to care for, feed, and manage the creatures, and also learn lore about them and how to use them (or parts of them) for magical purposes. Classes take place outdoors, although on some occasions the class is moved indoors when the weather is particularly bad. Some activities are conducted on the lawn or in the pumpkin patch near the keeper of the keys' cabin, while other classes require a trip into the Forest.
The Lawns
A wide flat lawn opposite the castle from the forest and the keyper of the keys' hut where the students take their flying lessons.
Flying Class
Learn how to fly through the air with the greatest of ease with help from your flying instructor
Wizarding Districts
The Leaky Cauldron
A small, shabby-looking inn on Charing Cross Road, London, sandwiched between a big book shop and a record store. The Leaky Cauldron is apparently not in Diagon Alley itself; it does serve as a "bridge" between the two worlds, however. The pub was built by Daisy Dodderidge around 1500 to serve as a gateway between the non-wizarding world and Diagon Alley.
Diagon Alley
One of the most popular shopping districts within the Wizarding community of Britain and the UK.
Hogsmeade
Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding village in Britain. It's a picturesque village of little thatched cottages and shops. Many great shops here, also!
Knocturn Alley
A seedy, dirty area, where no respectable society person would ever dare be caught wandering. Rumoured to be crawling with Dark Arts practitioners and suppliers.
Tapir's Tavern
Seedy atmosphere, smoke filled air, a barkeep that knows better than to ask too many questions, and questionable clientele, what else could you ask for?
Ministry of Magic

Apparation License Applications
All students 16 and older may apply to take their apparating exams here.
Animagi Registration

Magical Beings Registration
Creatures other than werewolves, (vampires, veela, goblins, etc.) register here.
Werewolf Support Services
Contains the Werewolf Registry, where newly infected werewolves report. Also houses support staff for werewolves, as well as the Werewolf Capture Unit.

Fortescue's Ice Cream
31 Flavors can never compete with the array of flavors and toppings we have here. Custom flavors always ready.
The Hog's Head
A small inn in Hogsmeade, on a side street off the main street, much dirtier (and attracting a more, er, interesting, clientele) than the Three Broomsticks. (Bring your own glasses-just a suggestion)
Gladrags Wizardwear
Clothier, with additional shops in London and Paris.
Dervish & Banges
Shop that sells and repairs magical equipment, located near the end of the High Street.
Honeydukes Sweetshop
Honeydukes not only sells a wide variety of sweets, they also make their own fudge and enormous blocks of chocolate. An entrance to one of the secret tunnels from Hogwarts is in the cellar under a trap door.
The Three Broomsticks
A great spot to drink butterbeer, although they also serve gillywater, mulled mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella. There are tables, booths, and a mirror over the bar.
The Shrieking Shack
Reputed to be the most haunted house in Britain, the Shrieking Shack gets its name from the terrifying screams and noises heard coming from it some twenty years ago. The Shack has been silent for years, but the reputation lives on. The windows are completely boarded up. Outside the house is a dank, overgrown garden. The entrances are all sealed; even Fred and George couldn't figure out how to get in. The Hogwarts ghosts avoid the place, saying that it's the home of a "rough crowd."
Madame Puddifoot's
A small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly, filled with small circular tables, located on a side street off the High Street; the only Hogwarts students who seem to patronize the place are trysting couples. The owner uses a revoltingly sappy decor for Valentine's Day (floating golden cherubs occasionally throwing pink confetti)
The Post Office
At least three hundred owls, from Great Grays to tiny Scops ("Local Deliveries Only"), wait to carry messages. They sit on shelves that are color-coded, depending on how fast you want your letter to get to its destination
Zonko's Joke Shop
Zonko's is a favourite place for Hogwarts students to shop. They carry a wide array of items including Dungbombs, Hiccup Sweets, Frog Spawn Soap, and Nose-Biting Teacups. During the dark time of 1996 and 1997, Zonko's closed and was boarded up.
Borgin & Burkes
Borgin & Burkes, located at 13B, is the largest establishment in Knockturn Alley. It sells Dark Arts magic items, some of which are very dangerous. The proprietor, buys as well as sells all manner of strange and sinister things.
