Studying for OWLSMallory sat quietly, going over the Astromony work, she hoped she would be able to stay awake a little better this term. She had a small stack of books near her arm, and was glad the place seemed empty she needed the piece and quiet to study. This was an OWLS year, and she needed all the ahead time she could manage.

Pervious sipped his tea as he skimmed through an article in the Daily Prophet. He wasn't particularly fond of newspapers and fond them to be rather boring. However, he was bored out of his mind and because there were students about, he was unable to whip out a bottle of firewhiskey or drool over the lovely ladies of his favorite magazine.
Having read the Prophet twice, he tossed it into the garbage bin and looked up at a student who was seated at the table just across from him.
"My Dear, if you require any assistance at all please feel free to ask."
Please ask for my help, pleeease.

Mallory looked up and smiled at the librarian. He was really handsome, kind of like her uncle Morbius.
"Actually, I am just the person I need to see," she said hopefully, her eyes lighting up.
"I am working on Astronomy research for my OWLs. Tell me, what effect do you think the current trend of global warming will have on the possible formation of piranha black holes, if any?"

Pervious had absolutely no idea what the poor girl was going on about. He couldn't remember a damn thing about Astronomy from his years of schooling. He just knew that it was difficult to regain consciousness after the excruciatingly dull lectures he and his fellow classmates had to endure all those years ago.
"I'm afraid I can be of no use to you on this matter. Astronomy never was my best subject." Not wanting to come off as a complete dunce, he vanished behind a mass of shelves destined to find something that would be of use to her. He emerged a few moments later armed with several very dusty books and laid them out in front of her.
"However! You might be able to find some information within these very dusty old books. At least I hope so." With that he smiled at the girl and returned to doing absolutely nothing.

Mallory smiled vaguely, and sneezed when a dust cloud rose as she opened the top book. These were really old. Not what she was looking for at all. Piranha black holes were a relatively new discovery. She thanked him anyway, and waited until he was seated, before going to the periodicals section, and taking down a few newer magazines that might have the information she was looking for.
Her pleated skirt lifted up a little as she stood on a chair to get better aim and pointed at a book close to the top shelf, which contained diagrams of other galaxies.
